Artificial intelligence (AI) has developed from a futuristic concept to an increasingly commonplace tool gaining widespread acceptance. Terms and concepts such as "ChatGPT," "agentic AI," "generative AI," "machine learning," and "telematics" have become progressively familiar to the insurance industry. As the technology advances, new cybersecurity concerns arise. Growing investment in AI is met by an increased need for regulatory oversight to protect both the insurance industry and individual consumers.
To gauge the impact of AI on the insurance industry, AM Best conducted a survey of its rated insurers. In this webinar, we present the findings from the survey. Results will be presented in aggregate and will focus on the current state of AI adoption in the insurance industry and where insurers think AI will make a significant impact in the medium term.
