SIR Annual Conference

2020 SIR Virtual Annual Conference Series & Exhibit Fair

#SIR50 Position Now for Future Success: Gain Insights. Generate Ideas. Grow Influence

October 1 & 20 - 22

The main event platform is now live for attendees! Go to www.eventmobi.com/sir2020 to start exploring now! If you are having issues getting in, you may not be registered. Contact info@sirnet.org for help!

The Society of Insurance Research provides a forum to our members to exchange ideas and best practices to support key decision making processes within their respective organizations. We have stood by our members in this mission and supported them over five decades. COVID-19 has pushed the insurance industry into a situation in which various players have had to make big decisions quickly. Some members are navigating this period successfully, while others are looking to learn.

To help with this, SIR has added an additional day of valuable content and we are excited to announce programming for the first day of the SIR's Annual Conference SERIES! The event will now be held on October 1 and October 20-22. Day one will bring our attendees across various parts of the insurance value chain to share challenges and best practices as everyone navigates through this challenging time. Pricing will stay the same at $199 for members and $249 for non-members. This is an incredible value for four full days of content!

The theme for this year’s event is “#SIR50 Position Now for Future Success: Gain Insights. Generate Ideas. Grow Influence". In 10 years, the insurance industry will not look like it does today. Customers expect a new experience that meets them where, when and how they decide. New technology and data are transforming the dynamics of this experience. And competitive pressures arising from these changes are forcing carriers to re-examine the foundations of their business models. Who will emerge as a leader in this new future? You can help guide the industry perspective.

To accommodate SIR members from across the country, the conference will take place daily on October 1 and October 20-22 from 11 AM - 4 PM ET. There will also be plentiful opportunities to network and visit virtual exhibit booths with one hour coffee breaks from 10-11 AM ET and Virtual Happy Hours 4-5 PM ET, in addition to many breaks throughout the day. The October 1st sessions will have a focus on how insurance research has changed during this pandemic. The October 20-22 dates will feature broader general sessions in the morning with the afternoon focusing on the typical SIR Annual Conference business tracks—Personal, Life/Health, and Commercial. See the agenda for more details!
