SIR Workshop: Industry Evolution - Research: This is a causal-comparative study completed on an insurance carrier looking at employee engagement as a whole and the differences between generations. The research was conducted at an insurance carrier in the central United States in 2020. The learning objectives for this proposal: - Understand what employees state are their driving forces in the insurance industry related to employee engagement. - Examine differences in the workforce from a generational standpoint of engagement.
- Create consumable plans for leadership to take back to teams for enhanced engagement. This is aligned with the conference theme of Industry Evolution. Taking this research and adding the emotional intelligence needed for leadership coming out of a pandemic and into the future will help leaders in the industry formulate plans to implement as well as execute within their organizations.
