SIR Webinar: U.S. Economic Outlook: Challenges For The Next President.
The US is struggling to recover from its worst recession in recent history. The road to economic safety is a slow one and continues to be fraught with potholes in its post-COVID recovery. The 2021 Economic outlook depends on mobility, restrictions and the speed of the vaccine. Households are spending and businesses are adding jobs to their rosters, amidst promising vaccine news. The Fed remains committed to stabilizing the economy while the government recently extended emergency stimulus. But, the longer the duration of virus, the worse the outcome. The U.S. could fall back into recession if the virus spreads further with not enough stimulus to cushion the blow. All while the U.S. dispute with China worsens.
