Conning Commentary June 2006

The linked issue of "The Conning Commentary", posted with permission, includes two articles prepared in part from information presented at the Society's 2006 Spring Workshops in Philadelphia. The article "The economic and insurance impact of an avian flu pandemic" was prepared by Terance B. Martin, FSA, MAAA and the article "Competitive Intelligence: A new way to better decision-making" was written by Clint Harris, CPCU, ARP, ARe. Both are employed by Conning Research & Development, Inc., and both participated in the SIR workshop on "Insurance Hot Topics / Emerging Issues".
