Member Services

The Society of Insurance Research is the only professional organization of its kind focused on the unique needs of practitioners in all areas of insurance research. The Society provides our Members a unique forum in which to be forward thinking and to learn and share at the cutting edge of developments in research and insurance.

This is accomplished principally through:

  Networking opportunities provided by SIR conferences and educational classes and through the Member directory and skills matrix in the Members-only section of the Society's web site.

  The SIR Personal Research Portal which delivers links, resources, and continuous news feeds about all lines of insurance to each Member's desktop. The Member can tailor their personal view of the Portal to include and accentuate the lines of business and the tools they find most useful.

  Presentations and discussion at SIR conferences and events.

  Access to conference presentations and other material, including original research by the SIR, individual or corporate SIR Members, or partnering organizations.

The Society is engaged in an initiative to develop a greater number and variety of services for our Members and to deliver more of that value on-line, aside from conferences and events.
