Member Services

The Society of Insurance Research is the only professional organization of its kind focused on the unique needs of practitioners in all areas of insurance research. The Society provides our members a unique forum in which to be forward thinking and to learn and share at the cutting edge of developments in research and insurance.

This is accomplished principally through:

  Networking opportunities provided by SIR conferences and educational classes and through the Member directory and skills matrix in the Members Only section of the Society's web site.

  Presentations and discussion at SIR conferences and events.

  Access to conference presentations and other material, including original research by the SIR, individual or corporate SIR Members, or partnering organizations.

Since the latter half of 2007, the Society has been engaged in an initiative to redesign the SIR web site and make it our principal vehicle, aside from conferences and events, for delivering communications and value to our Members. If you can offer or suggest pertinent material for the Research Page; links for the Insurance Links page; Member discounts or benefits such as the SIR discount to ACI courses; or any other idea to make this site more useful to SIR Members or to the insurance industry, please contact us.
