Could you --- or your staff --- benefit from a broader working knowledge of the insurance industry and its unique jargon? If you sell to insurance companies, would you be more effective if you could "speak their language"? And if you work for an insurance company, could you sell your ideas better if you knew more about the big picture and other departments' roles?
“Insurance Fundamentals” is an introductory one-day course designed to orient non-technical insurance people and suppliers to the key terminology, processes, and market dynamics of this complex industry.
First offered in 2007, it has been very popular with:
-- Employees of carriers, agents and brokers who are new to the industry;
-- Employees of non-insurance companies who currently work with insurance companies, agents, and brokers; or who want to sell into the insurance market;
-- Employees in non-insurance technical positions within insurance companies (such as IT, HR, accounting etc.), who want to know more about the basics of the industry in which they work.
