Welcome to the Practitioners and Academics Linking Site (PALS). PALS was created by the Society of Insurance Research (SIR) in conjunction with the American Risk and Insurance Association (ARIA) for the benefit of their respective members. To learn more about each of the organizations click on the appropriate link.
SITE OBJECTIVES
The objective of this site is twofold:
- Provide academics who need data to do their research the ability to link with insurance carriers who may have the data and
- Provide practitioners within the insurance industry access to academic researchers who may be able to conduct research on behalf of specific companies or to address industry issues.
It is not the intent of this site to provide
– Data aggregation
– Proposal reviews
– Progress reviews
– Publication of papers
